We are currently seeking a highly skilled Machining Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Racine, WI. Our 600,000+ square foot manufacturing plant is a state-of-the-art facility that requires a team of experts to improve worker safety, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Design and Planning: Develops, designs, and plans equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to improve utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
  • Worker Efficiency and Improvement: Evaluates worker efficiency and recommends improvements to increase workforce and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
  • Performance Indicators and Analysis: Creates performance indicators to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identifies equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
  • Accident Prevention and Training: Establishes accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation and ensures compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
  • Facility Specifications and Analysis: Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structural design.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or other technical subject area and 3+ years of experience providing manufacturing engineering support in a machining manufacturing or industrial shop environment.
  • Desirable Skills: Working knowledge of CNC programming with horizontal and/or vertical machining centers, experience with M and G code programming, solid understanding of ProE and AutoCAD, and experience with Lean Manufacturing.
