Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner for Occupational Medicine at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to employees within the organization. Your expertise will be essential in performing physical exams, conducting comprehensive health assessments, and interpreting clinical findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health promotion, illness/injury prevention, and therapeutic plans congruent with the client's diagnosis, health problem, or need.
- Initiate treatment for patients with commonly occurring health problems within the nurse practitioner's scope of practice.
- Provide anticipatory guidance, screening, and health education to patients to promote and maintain health.
- Assist in developing and implementing onsite educational programs, including obesity treatment, smoking cessation, and other health-related topics.
- Document training efforts and evaluate the effectiveness of programs by administering post-training assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Two years' technical experience in a related field: Preferred
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice: Required
Estimated base pay for this position is $132,384 to $198,577. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. A comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
