Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to oversee the delivery and quality of imaging services in our Radiology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that imaging services are provided in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner, while maintaining compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of radiology technologists and other staff members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of imaging services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to improve the quality of imaging services.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and to reduce wait times.
  • Provide training and education to staff members on new procedures and technologies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members to improve their performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Act as a liaison between the Radiology Department and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
