Key Responsibilities:

Respond to service requests from the Service Resource Center, including a brief overview of equipment/system issues.

Engage with customer representatives to identify equipment/system challenges.

Diagnose issues and execute service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at client locations.

Adhere to established troubleshooting protocols and consult technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to rectify equipment.

Service, troubleshoot, and install various manufacturers' Fire & Life Safety systems, including SimplexGrinnell.

Interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.

Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by consistently communicating with district staff and clients to ensure satisfaction.

Complete Service Acknowledgements with precise coding through communication devices, such as smartphones and laptops.

Secure customer signatures upon completion of service assignments.

Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.

Assist in training or mentoring fellow team members.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
  • State of Oklahoma Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV licenses.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
  • Overnight travel may be necessary.
  • Exhibit a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain vehicle inventory to ensure prompt response to client requirements.
  • Ability to implement and consistently adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Maintain any licenses required by National, State, and Local regulations.

Preferred:

  • NICET Level II certification.
  • Nurse call license.
