As a Senior Audit and Accounts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing audit assignments and fostering strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Client Interaction**: Maintain day-to-day communication with clients, HMRC, and other professional advisors, ensuring a personable and engaging approach.
2. **Audit Management**: Oversee all aspects of audit and accounts assignment management, including:
    a. Job planning and budgeting
    b. Time management and delegation to team members
    c. Monitoring team progress and managing projects
    d. Conducting detailed file reviews and providing constructive feedback
3. **Tax Review**: Review corporation tax computations and collaborate with Tax Specialists for accuracy.
4. **File Finalization**: Prepare files for Partner review, including corporation tax calculations and submissions to HMRC and Companies House.
5. **Team Leadership**: Motivate and mentor team members, particularly trainees, ensuring their development and progress throughout their training contracts.
6. **Practice Development**: Attend client gatherings and seminars, identifying opportunities for account development and assisting in new client pitches.
7. **Administrative Support**: Provide innovative solutions to enhance current systems related to client and personnel matters, assist with billing and debt collection processes.
