Position Overview: Bartender

Department: Main Bar

Job Objective:
The primary aim of this role is to deliver outstanding service to all patrons in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm
  • Serve drinks in line with club standards
  • Prepare and uphold a tidy and organized bar area
  • Receive and store beverages appropriately
  • Adhere to beverage regulations
  • Respond to guest inquiries with accuracy and courtesy
  • Complete side tasks during quieter periods
  • Engage with guests positively
  • Deliver the highest standard of service
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Follow established operating procedures
  • Keep a safe and clean work environment
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of beverage offerings
  • Ensure enjoyable experiences for guests
  • Responsible for cleanliness and proper handling of beverages
  • Prepare work area in accordance with club standards
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Arrive for shifts in uniform and ready to perform
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Proficient in using point of sale systems
  • Ability to learn menu items and updates
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in a country club or restaurant bar setting
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended durations
  • Demonstrate proficiency with beverage menus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented, diligent, and trustworthy
