Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Facilities Director to lead our facilities department at Community Health Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the functioning of our building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. You will also manage the maintenance of our buildings and grounds, as well as oversee contractors for facility renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the facilities department to ensure efficient and effective operation of building systems
  • Oversee the maintenance of buildings and grounds, including repairs and renovations
  • Manage contractors for facility renovation projects, including HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of facilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management or engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, including experience in building operations and maintenance
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines
