About the Role:

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA, with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team to prospect, qualify, and close accounts aligned with Zerova's charger technical and business strengths, exceeding annual sales goals.
  • Develop comprehensive territory strategies, including channel leverage and internal resource allocation, to optimize sales performance for each account.
  • Create and execute an annual sales business plan to achieve sales targets, accurately forecast revenue, and drive continuous growth.
  • Visit key accounts, resolve customer issues, and deliver technical and product presentations as needed to support the sales process.
  • Provide proactive account management and superior customer service to drive technical developments and ongoing production.
  • Generate periodic reports including forecast information, account status updates, and sales opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Travel extensively within assigned territories to build and maintain relationships with key customers, articulate value propositions, and secure business within expected timelines.
  • Develop a strong technical knowledge base through training and development milestones for the sales team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electric Vehicle technology.
  • Minimum 7 years of combined experience in multichannel system-level technical sales, preferably in battery chargers or charging technology.
  • Minimum 15 years of technical sales experience.
  • Team leadership experience is a must.
  • Experience in selecting and managing Manufacturers Representatives.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and multitasking skills to deliver superior customer service, including off-hours communications as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including occasional international trips.
