Job Summary

Next GenHealth Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead our Postpartum Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the clinical and financial outcomes of the designated unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Unit Supervisor to ensure the unit's goals and objectives are aligned with the hospital's strategic plans.

  • Manage and develop the unit's personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.

  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among staff members.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and professional standards.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and unit operations.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Charge Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Supervisor in a healthcare setting.

  • Documented experience demonstrating leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

  • Registered Nurse license in Texas (Compact License acceptable, with Texas license to be obtained within 90 days of hire).

  • BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • NIHSS certification required within 90 days of hire.

  • Specialty certification required within 6 months of hire.
