Position Summary:
This role involves the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems to meet customer requirements efficiently, accurately, and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert service to our clientele by repairing and overhauling equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that surpasses customer expectations.
  • Perform expert repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies to ensure high-quality performance for our customers.
  • Support departmental operations by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Provide necessary training to new or less experienced technicians as required.
  • Maintain proper inventory on service vehicles and operate company vehicles safely.
  • Execute other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of coursework at an accredited vocational technical or trade school
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, and gas furnaces
  • Experience with refrigeration systems in convenience and supermarket environments
  • Valid Driver's License
  • EPA Certification
  • Extensive knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems
  • Proficient understanding of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing computer controls
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and management
