Precision HR Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Cambridge, MA area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a dedicated teacher who can establish and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes emotional and social growth for students.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, abilities, and interests of all students assigned to the class.
  • They will also create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the student.
  • The teacher will guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and strive to implement by instruction and action the District's philosophy of education and instructional materials.
  • Additionally, they will assist in the selection of books, equipment, and other instructional materials, and establish and maintain cooperative relations with others.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement.
  • Valid Special Education Teaching license and MA Certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in subject area and commitment to working with underserved communities.
  • The ability to motivate, support, and challenge students in a student-centered, standards-driven classroom community.
  • A positive mindset and a drive for personal excellence.
  • Solutions-oriented resiliency to respond positively and effectively to challenges.
  • Outstanding instructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorous and engaging strategies.

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and ability.
