Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving: Prepare skids and cartons for shipment, including organizing, labeling, and packaging.
  • Inventory Management: Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist with movement of shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage and work areas.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation for shipping activities.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections, focusing on product quality, safety, team building, and effective waste management.
  • Customer Service: Effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities using communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy work, lifting up to 60 pounds, with frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with shipping and receiving operations, utilizing warehouse equipment such as forklift and electric pallet jack.
