Avera is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. As a CNA, you will provide direct care and services to residents in our skilled nursing facility, meeting their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct, personal care and services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to licensed nurses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Requirements:
  • Certified as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota within 120 days of starting this position.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required within 6 months if primary work shift is a night shift position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the healthcare team.
