Position Overview

Leidos is in search of a part-time Senior Educator specializing in Secure Compartmented Information Courses (SCIF). The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SCIF construction and physical security protocols to support a critical program within the Intelligence Community (IC). All instructional activities will be conducted virtually. A current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is mandatory for consideration.

Work Schedule

This role is structured as an ongoing part-time engagement, requiring approximately 10 hours in one month and a minimum of 20 hours in the subsequent month, extending over a prolonged period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated instructional support to a designated office while also offering general assistance to various Directorates, Offices, and Centers as necessary.
  • Gather essential information to develop and enhance in-house training programs.
  • Facilitate comprehensive training initiatives for personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Administer experiential learning opportunities and simulations.
  • Collaborate with Instructional System Designers (ISDs) to continuously update lesson plans in alignment with evolving training requirements and to ensure the accuracy of technical content.
  • Coordinate with Teaching Assistants (TAs) regarding class logistics, conduct training sessions, and establish criteria for assessing training effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about trends, methodologies, and new materials in information technology training.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of analytical experience as an intelligence analyst within the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience in delivering formal classroom instruction to junior intelligence analysts, either as a primary instructor or adjunct faculty.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) along with 18+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to provide instructor-led training in a formal classroom environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of IC Analytic Standards, tradecraft, and methodologies, with practical experience in applying these to resolve intelligence challenges.
  • In-depth understanding of the structure of the Intelligence Community and the roles and capabilities of its member organizations concerning analytic functions.
  • Exceptional skills in delivering effective oral presentations and preparing written instructional materials that clearly outline learning objectives and relevant content.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with IC collaboration tools associated with INTELINK-SBU and INTELINK.

Compensation Information

The pay range for this position is $98,000 to $177,425. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation. Factors influencing the final offer may include job responsibilities, educational background, experience, skills, and internal equity.

Remote Work

This position allows for remote work arrangements.
