Position Overview

The Physical Therapist embodies the core mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, ensuring adherence to the organization's ethical standards and compliance protocols, as well as all relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a licensed physical therapist who upholds the ethical guidelines and standards of practice as defined by their professional body and the State of Illinois. Responsibilities include direct patient care, educational duties, active participation in relevant committees, and contributions to departmental quality improvement initiatives. The Physical Therapist is expected to serve as a mentor for fellow therapists and clinical interns, demonstrating excellence in professional conduct, clinical skills, communication, education, and leadership.

Essential Qualifications:
Mandatory:

  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (LIC PT)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (CERT BLS)
