About the Role

The UCLA Office of Legal Affairs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide top-notch administrative support to the Vice Chancellor of Legal Affairs. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Vice Chancellor, including managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence.
  • Develop and implement effective systems for communication, tracking, and reporting, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Manage complex and changing schedules, prioritizing tasks and meeting urgent requests.
  • Prepare and proof correspondence, reports, and presentations, using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and travel arrangements, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Build and maintain cooperative relationships with campus administration, academic leadership, and external partners.
  • Handle privileged and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • High-level skill in managing complex calendars, schedules, and systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to interact diplomatically with diverse stakeholders, including campus administration, academic leadership, and external partners.
