Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate airport maintenance activities and operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize disruptions to airport operations.
- Collaborate with other divisions, outside agencies, and the general public to coordinate assigned activities and provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of airport facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the City of Albuquerque New Mexico remains a leader in airport maintenance and operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in airport maintenance and operations, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of airport maintenance and operations, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aviation management, engineering, or a related field.
