As a Resource Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals who are eager to integrate into their community and explore their careers. Whether it's supporting them in the workplace, helping them find social or recreational activities, or assisting them in pursuing higher education, your role will be vital in helping them turn their dreams into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Help individuals build their skills and discover new interests
  • Assist individuals in pursuing higher education and career goals
  • Build meaningful relationships with individuals and their families
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in social services or a related field
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to help others
  • Ability to pass a background check and have a valid CA driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive starting range of $20-22 per hour
  • A $1 per hour pay increase after completing a six-month development and performance program
