Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Services Technician/Laborer to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a key member of our industrial services team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently completing tasks and duties associated with industrial field labor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site preparation and cleanup tasks, including power washing, hydro blasting, digging, sweeping, and removing hazardous waste materials.
  • Identify and report any hazards or safety concerns on the job site.
  • Operate and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety gear, including respirators and uniforms.
  • Monitor job sites for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work in a variety of environments, including extreme temperatures, heights, and hazardous chemical conditions.
  • Perform physical tasks, such as standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by site superintendents or management.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug and criminal background screening is required.
