Position Overview:

Deliver prompt, precise, and cordial service while crafting top-notch beverages for our patrons. Share the culinary philosophy of Twelvemonth, emphasizing our commitment to vegetable-centric innovation and sustainability. The primary goal of each bartender is to ensure our guests enjoy an extraordinary experience that encourages repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Warmly welcome and engage guests, ensuring they feel at ease while informing them about beverage and dining selections. Educate first-time visitors about our dedication to vegetable-forward creativity and sustainability.
• Present drink menus, offer suggestions, and respond to inquiries regarding food and beverages.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu to address detailed questions about allergens and ingredient sources.
• Update guests on specials and menu modifications.
• Make thoughtful recommendations that align with guests' preferences, acting as an 'Ambassador' for Twelvemonth.
• Process beverage and food orders from guests and input them into our point-of-sale system.
• Craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Twelvemonth's established drink recipes.
• Foster relationships by learning the names of our regular patrons.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in bar areas.
• Handle guest payments, process credit card transactions, and provide change as necessary.
• Clean and sanitize glassware.
• Prepare batch recipes in line with Twelvemonth's standard formulations.
• Prepare garnishes for beverages.
• Check the freshness of juices on a daily basis.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all batches, syrups, and shrubs.
• Organize bottles and glassware attractively to facilitate efficient drink preparation and promote beverage offerings.
• Uphold cleanliness in all bar areas, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage spaces.
• Serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Report any equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues to the management team.
• Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.
• Communicate with management regarding breaks, vacation requests, and other scheduling needs.
• Contribute positively to the work environment.
• Be available to assist as needed to ensure the seamless operation of Twelvemonth as directed by management or immediate supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Availability for Sunday shifts is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of our guests.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes is essential.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system are necessary.
• Capability to stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in crafting cocktails is a significant advantage.
