We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
- Conduct echocardiograms, vascular studies, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in the diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology to provide expert imaging services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac sonography and imaging technology to ensure optimal patient care.
- Completion of a Cardiac Sonography Program or equivalent experience.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
