Crover Ltd is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Geneva, NY. As a key member of our robotics manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical parts of our CROVER robots/systems.
Main Responsibilities- Assemble and test mechanical and electrical components of CROVER robots/systems.
- Order and procure parts and equipment needed for the manufacturing site, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to manage orders, monitor shipment schedules, and address any issues that may arise.
- Perform basic maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring equipment is working safely and efficiently.
- Operate various equipment for testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical components, PCBs, and assembled devices.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve systems.
- Test, inspect, and debug electrical components, PCBs, and software.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems; collate and compile relative fault analysis reports.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Monitor and track all pending orders, providing regular updates on scheduling and ensuring alignment with production timelines.
- Experience with hand and power tools, soldering, and testing equipment.
- A basic understanding of CAD software and digital manufacturing tools (bonus points if you've used them before).
- The ability to troubleshoot wiring systems and interpret technical drawings.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
- Experience testing and debugging Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to an innovative robotics company.
