Job Summary:

As a Healthcare Support Specialist at Providence, you will play a vital role in providing supportive personal care services to patients of all ages. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will work in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Requirements:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License - if practicing within this state.
  • This position requires that you obtain an NPI number within 30 days of starting in the position.
  • 2 years' experience, OR Nursing student with current CNA.
