About the Position

The Dixon Unified School District is seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to work in a health office setting, addressing student medical needs and providing specialized healthcare for designated students. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing work, preferably with medically fragile children or adults, and a strong understanding of public school settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid and perform various health care tasks for students
  • Work under the management of the Director of Pupil Services and general oversight of the Credentialed District Nurse
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure student health and well-being

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Vocational Nurse Training program or equivalent
  • One year of experience in nursing work, preferably with medically fragile children or adults
  • Prior experience working in a public school setting is desired
