Position Overview
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to enhance the Thoracic Surgery Section, providing care across inpatient, operating room, and outpatient environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with a skilled team of five associate practice providers and four physicians, focusing on the diagnosis and surgical management of patients with thoracic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures as the first assistant in the operating room for various thoracic surgeries, including open, VATS, and robotic techniques.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care and education within both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Engage in a collaborative work environment that leverages cutting-edge technologies and practices in thoracic surgical care. Experience with robotic surgery is advantageous, with training and mentorship available.
- Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the clinical education of General Surgery Residents and trainees in the PA Residency Program. A faculty appointment through the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth may be pursued.

- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
