Trailer Mechanic Job Description

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team at our Romulus, MI facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair damage to trailers
  • Repair tears on the sides of containers
  • Replace lights
  • Tire repair
  • Landing gear repair
  • Frame repair
  • Preventative maintenance, running repair, brakes, and suspension

Requirements:
  • 1 year of basic welding experience
  • Basic set of tools
  • Previous experience in container repair and welding preferred
  • Able to work in varying weather conditions

Pay: $31.00 per hour

Shift Differential: Available for 3rd shift

Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Trailer Mechanic: 1 year (preferred)
