The City of Mount Dora is seeking a highly skilled and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the primary point of contact with the public, this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch service to our citizens.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide professional assistance to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Perform a variety of clerical, record-keeping, cash handling, payment processing, data entry, and customer service duties related to services provided by the City.
  • Work independently, using sound judgment and discretion to make decisions and take actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on City services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries.

**Requirements**

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; minimum two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be bondable and have a valid Florida Driver License.
  • Ability to complete the required National Incident Management System (NIMS) training within six months of completion of probationary period.
