Cottonwood Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in efficiently maintaining our community. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading by example, developing and providing on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to technicians and community care associates, and resolving maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and set the standard for efficient property maintenance operations.
  • Develop and Train: Hire, develop, and provide on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to technicians and community care associates.
  • Resolve Maintenance Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
  • Manage Make-Ready and Apartment Turnover: Ensure timely completion of make-ready and apartment turnover processes to prepare apartments for new residents.
  • Preserve Property Condition: Maintain the beauty and safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, and grounds maintenance.
  • Sustain Peak Efficiency: Ensure peak efficiency operation levels for all property components.
  • Adhere to Codes and Standards: Comply with applicable building, county, and safety codes/standards, while maintaining an accident-free operation.
  • Manage Staffing Schedules: Reinforce monthly staffing schedules and ensure 24/7 emergency coverage.
Requirements
  • HVAC Certification: Required.
  • EPA Certification: Type II or Universal.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required.
