Role Purpose: Supervise and support adolescent clients facing addiction challenges. Ensure the delivery of program services in a safe, ethical, and therapeutic environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. Provide comprehensive counseling services, including individual sessions, case management, group discussions, and educational activities on a daily basis. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate addiction treatment for clients and their families, integrating recovery principles into their everyday lives.

Work Schedule:

  • Days: Tuesday to Saturday
  • Hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of experience in addiction treatment or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Certification as an Addictions Counselor (CADC) or the ability to obtain certification within two years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the work hours established by the Supervisor and any additional hours necessary for assigned duties.
  • Act as a role model for staff and clients, promoting positive interactions.
  • Oversee client behavior and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Organize and supervise recreational activities for clients.
  • Collaborate with primary counselors to monitor client progress and assist with treatment plan objectives.
  • Maintain accurate client service records in compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and present educational lectures as per the client’s schedule.
  • Observe and document group interactions.
  • Facilitate focused group discussions.
  • Engage with the treatment team to determine daily therapeutic strategies.
  • Review logs and gather essential information from previous shifts and team members.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience.

  • Starting pay at $18 per hour.
  • Additional compensation for CADC certification.

Shift Differentials: Additional pay for specific shift hours.

  • Evening shift (majority of hours between 3 PM and 11 PM): additional $0.25 per hour.
  • Night shift (majority of hours between 10 PM and 7 AM): additional $0.50 per hour.
