About the Role

As a Visual Brand Strategist on our Brand Studio team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Ramp's brand identity and setting the visual tone for our marketing efforts. Our Brand Studio team is a multidisciplinary team comprising design, imagery, video, writing, and operations experts who work on high-impact projects across the company, defining our brand voice and tone to create a cohesive design system that underpins our website, advertising, sales, and marketing materials.



The ideal candidate has experience working within a design system and on a wide range of marketing executions. You will be responsible for executing a visual design strategy, including layout design, web design, experience design, and building and maintaining our brand identity system. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Brand designers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality work.



Responsibilities


  • Elevate our visual identity through evolving and executing templates, guidelines, and design systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful brand marketing efforts, such as campaigns, events, sales, and demand generation
  • Bring enthusiasm, focus, and drive to every project, ensuring timely completion and delivering high-quality results
  • Work on a diverse range of creative projects, including web design, decks, billboards, swag, events, and more
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and evolution of our visual aesthetic, ensuring consistency and cohesion across multiple channels
  • Present your work to cross-functional partners, both within marketing and across the company
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency
  • Maintain order and organization within working files for asynchronous feedback
  • Prototype designs using Figma and effectively communicate your ideas to stakeholders
  • Participate in regular design reviews and be open to receiving and providing constructive feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design tools and techniques, ensuring you remain adaptable and innovative in your approach
  • Collaborate with producers on the team to move work forward and ensure seamless execution


Requirements


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a design agency or team, or equivalent
  • A strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating visually appealing and thoughtful designs
  • Proficiency in design software, including Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • A refined understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, color, and layout
  • Experience with Figma design libraries and motion design

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role is $120,000, with target equity and benefits, including 100% medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, a 401(k) plan, flexible PTO, fertility HRA, WFH stipend, wellness stipend, parental leave, relocation support for NY, and pet insurance. The estimated salary range is based on the target level for this role and may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
