Job Overview

The Customer Service Advisor (CSA) plays a vital role in our retail sales team, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer support. This position typically starts as a Greeter and offers opportunities for advancement into roles such as Parts Sales, Parts Specialist, and ultimately a Sales Lead, contingent upon strong performance and positive evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a positive safety culture within the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store objectives.
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity in all interactions.
  • Provide essential information to customers upon their arrival, responding to inquiries with enthusiasm and friendliness.
  • Adhere to loss prevention and cash handling protocols consistently.
  • Assist with various housekeeping and maintenance tasks as outlined in the assigned duties.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Recognize when customer interactions require managerial support.
  • Engage in ongoing training, including the Pick-n-Pull 5 Step Sales Model.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to safety at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Able to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and their relation to customer transactions is beneficial.
  • Adhere to the company dress code, maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly engage in standing, lifting, walking, bending, and stretching to perform customer service and safety functions.
  • Manual dexterity is required for maintaining cleanliness and performing assigned tasks.
  • Must have sufficient vision to safely execute job responsibilities.
  • Able to remain on feet for the duration of the assigned shift.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to noisy environments and machinery.
