Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in promoting a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a Safe Environment: Ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff by identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Act as a first responder to incidents posing a safety hazard to individuals in the area, and notify law enforcement as necessary.
  • Conduct Investigations: Gather information and conduct investigations into security-related incidents, and prepare reports documenting your findings.
  • Provide Customer Service: Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain Security Post: Patrol designated areas, monitor security cameras, and respond to alarms and other security-related incidents.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement highly desirable.
  • Licensure: Valid California Concealed Weapons Permit, California Guard Card, and Exposed to Carry Permit required.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of PC computers and their programs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
