High-Voltage Systems Architect

Job Description: As an Electrical Engineer at Planate Management Group, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-voltage systems for healthcare facilities. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

We are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Our team offers expertise in planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of high-voltage systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Develop detailed design solutions for ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Use advanced computer software to create drawings and virtual models, presenting design concepts to teams and clients.
- Prepare and submit engineering plans, calculations, and drawings to public authorities for approval.
- Perform engineering economic analyses and evaluate building systems to meet project scope requirements.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules, overseeing projects from initial scoping through construction support.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) packages emphasizing safety, constructability, and context sensitivity.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- At least 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on healthcare facility design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulatory requirements, and modern construction practices.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
