We are looking for an Aquatic Safety Specialist to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons. In this role, you will:

Vigilantly monitor the swimming area to provide a secure and safe environment for all users Implement accident prevention strategies by enforcing established pool rules and guidelines Address all injuries, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with organizational policies Provide individualized and group swimming instruction to participants of various skill levels Contribute to the design, execution, and promotion of innovative aquatic programs Support the upkeep and cleanliness of the aquatic facility

Ideal Qualifications:

Minimum age requirement of 16 years Valid Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to secure certification upon hiring Previous experience in lifeguarding or swim instruction preferred Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain them upon hiring

Physical Demands:

Applicants should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance throughout the workday Frequent movement including walking, demonstrating exercises, and performing physical activities such as bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and squatting Ability to remain in water for extended periods during work hours
