We are seeking a skilled Master Technician to join our team at Jiffy Lube. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through top-quality work and outstanding service.
Responsibilities- Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration to ensure timely and accurate guest care.
- Provide clear communication and feedback to guests regarding their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs.
- Ensure the service center and workstation are clean and presentable at all times.
- Perform complete disc or drum brake service, including replacing braking components and performing full brake flushes.
- Diagnose and pinpoint issues in the braking system and provide expert solutions.
- Diagnose and repair vital components, including Engine Performance, Suspension/Steering, Electrical, Heating AC, etc.
- Utilize our current computer system to provide estimates for parts and labor, including programs such as All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, etc.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure all work is completed to standard.
- Perform ancillary services, including lubrication, fuel services, tire rotations, and gearbox service.
- 1-3 years of automotive experience.
- 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.
- Ability to provide training and supervision to the store's apprentice teammate.
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in A5 - Brakes Certification.
- ASE certification(s) in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.
- Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
