  • Mentor and motivate staff and engineers in a professional engineering environment and grow group leadership talent.
  • Hire qualified staff and provide technical training to advance the state-of-the-art technology.
  • Contribute to the development of new and innovative technologies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in EE, CS, CE, or equivalent degree.
  • Strong background in software development.
  • Knowledge of various waveforms and wireless communications.
  • Open source Linux development.
  • Proven record of successfully leading large project planning and development activities.
  • Significant experience in bidding new technical work and related activities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present technical information.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate data and build consensus cross-functionally.
  • Excellent mentoring skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
  • Demonstrated history of embracing change and pushing for organizational improvement.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
