About the Role

Helio Health is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, dedicated to treating and promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality medical and counseling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical and counseling services in a variety of clinical settings, working as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Monitor and document clients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and report to supervisors or medical directors.
  • Work with other medical staff to ensure continuity of clients' medical care.
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding clients' medical concerns.
  • Provide direct client care, including medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting, and public health and screening protocols.
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department.
  • Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
