About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing administrative and financial aspects of research, designing instrumentation and theoretical models, and overseeing data collection and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise staff in a large and complex research laboratory
- Responsible for administrative, financial, staffing, and planning aspects of research
- Design and apply scientific and numerical models in research
- Oversee development and integrity of data collection and instruments
- Conduct ongoing, periodic, and final analyses of data using specialized techniques and programming
- Write and collaborate on manuscripts, abstracts, and other publications of research findings
- Collaborate with other researchers on long-range plans for overall research
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field; related master's degree preferred
- Five years of professional research experience
- Three years of supervisory experience
