- Read and Interpret Drawings: Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to ensure accurate assembly.
- Clean Parts Thoroughly: Clean parts thoroughly to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Review Work Activities: Review work activities with supervisor to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assemble Units and Subassemblies: Assemble units and subassemblies using lamination presses.
- Tag Components: Tag components, subassemblies, and units as required.
- Correct Defects: Correct defects as directed by supervisor.
- Check Product: Check product to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Fabricate or Modify Parts: Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment.
- Verify Dimensions: Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications.
- High School Diploma or GED: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 Years Mechanical Assembly Experience: 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience may be required.
- Basic Reading Skills: Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
- Basic Computer Navigation: Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and self-motivation skills required.
