Our ASCEND Program:

We're proud to offer the ASCEND program, a career accelerator program exclusively designed to give behavioral healthcare workers the career guidance, one-on-one coaching, skills, and financial assistance they need to reach their full potential. This program includes 100% of tuition covered (up to $15,000 annually for undergraduate and $25,000 annually for graduate) and student loan repayment, among other benefits.

Pay Rates:

Starting rates: $15-$18.75 per hour, depending on education and experience. On-call rates: $18.75 per hour. Build your own rate up to $19.96 per hour with the shift differential and our TOB Exchange program.

Available Shifts:

Full-time, part-time, and on-call shifts available, including days, evenings, overnights, and power weekends.

Locations:

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities in various locations, including Tobyhanna, Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg, Scranton, Dickson City, Mount Pocono, Newfoundland, Greentown, Cresco, and Canadensis.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred
  • Valid driver's license required

Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization. We foster a culture of reporting abuse and will cooperate with the authorities to the fullest extent possible.
