Job Overview

Position: Intelligence Analyst - Focus on Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction


Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 based on qualifications and technical evaluation.


The Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for delivering both original and derivative all-source analysis to support the USSOCOM J10 Directorate and CDRUSSOCOM. Adhering to the Intelligence Community Analytic Tradecraft Standards as outlined in ICD 203, the analyst will create comprehensive intelligence products that concentrate on specific entities involved in WMD programs and their associated activities throughout the WMD continuum as described in JP 3-40 and FCP CWMD.

The analyst will be tasked with planning, preparing, editing, integrating, publishing, and presenting all-source studies, responses to Requests For Information (RFI), and assessments in collaboration with various USSOCOM directorates, interagency partners, and intelligence community colleagues within the WMD/CWMD mission domain. A solid understanding of exercises and the ability to facilitate all intelligence cycle functions (including Planning and Direction; Collection; Processing and Exploitation; Analysis and Production; Dissemination) is essential. The analyst will also play a key role in enabling Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) activities through their expertise in exercises.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
  • At least ten years of experience in all-source analysis with Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Staff, or Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
  • A minimum of five years of experience utilizing intelligence research tools, collection methodologies, and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS).
  • Five years of experience with national and defense intelligence enterprise functions, roles, responsibilities, guidelines, directives, DoD organizational structures, and joint intelligence processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Certified Defense All Source Analyst (CDASA) certification is desirable.
