Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Mechanic to support our client, a prominent player in the American RNG industry. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the vibration levels and alignment of various machinery components. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing technical issues, executing repairs, and performing installations on a range of systems and equipment linked to gas processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct precise alignments on motors, compressors, and other rotating machinery.

Essential Duties:

  • Inspect and perform megger tests on motors.
  • Carry out quarterly vibration assessments and generate detailed reports.
  • Perform greasing maintenance on critical equipment.
  • Assist operational teams in the removal and installation of major machinery.
  • Install, commission, and initiate new units, ensuring all necessary inspections and testing are completed.
  • Evaluate compressors and control systems using precision tools such as micrometers and pressure gauges, along with electronic diagnostic equipment, to preemptively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Facilitate the implementation of mechanical and control system upgrades.
  • Document all technical procedures and create user manuals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in aligning rotating machinery (including compressors, motors, and pumps).
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for legal employment in the U.S.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 75% to 80% of the time.
  • Ability to work overtime, be on-call, and available on weekends as necessary.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
