Bone Health Program (BHP)

Support the BHP team in scheduling, rescheduling, and managing patient appointments.

  • Schedule, reschedule patients (BHP) for the following 2 Providers: Bone Health NP and Rheumatologist M.D.
  • Listen to BHP voicemail messages and reach out to patients that left messages.
  • Make calls to patients and reschedule, as needed.
  • Spot check Provider schedules for unfilled slots and review future clinics to reach out to patients and offer them sooner appt(s).
  • Review BHP in-basket messages from these Providers and attend to task.
  • Review emails and attend to task.
  • Enter orders and book bone density testing for BHP patients.
  • Monitor the BHP Work queue [WQ26231] and reach out to patients for appt scheduling and/or defer for later time.
Front Desk Responsibilities

Support front desk operations with check in / check out responsibilities, when staffing levels are in a deficit or based on patient volume.

  • Collecting copayments and self-pay payments that are due at time of check in.
  • Assist entering and scheduling radiology orders when there are staffing deficits.
  • Other duties assigned for the business needs of the department.
