Orthopedic Care Specialist

At OSF HealthCare, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Technician to join our team. As an Orthopedic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our orthopedic clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the application and removal of casts, orthopedic splints, and other devices.
- Provide basic care to patients, including vital sign checks and documentation.
- Work in both clinical and front office functions, providing clerical support and assisting with patient care activities.
- Perform duties in accordance with the specific needs of the practice.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months experience with computers, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Minimum of six months health care facility clinical experience or clinical education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a medical assistance program or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months experience with an electronic health record system.
