Sr. Technical Product Manager - Economic Evaluation

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. Technical Product Manager to lead the product strategy and development efforts within their Technology team. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, this individual will drive feature prioritization and implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence and alignment with company goals.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the economic evaluation capabilities of a real asset platform, with a focus on oil, gas, renewables, and land assets with recurring revenue.
  • Lead the development and scaling of evaluation models for property and infrastructure assets, including managing data inputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing hands-on leadership throughout the product delivery lifecycle.
  • Translate customer needs into clear, detailed requirements for internal teams such as designers, developers, and engineers.
  • Partner with designers and stakeholders to validate features and ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal users and oversee early-stage product testing, incorporating feedback for refinement.
  • Work with engineering leadership to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Maintain product documentation and regularly report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or a related technical field, with 8+ years of L48 economic evaluation experience.
  • Background in product management, with the ability to write detailed product requirements.
  • Technical expertise, particularly in programmatic APIs, API design, ERDs, and data management.
  • Familiarity with economic evaluation applications like Landmark ARIES, PHDwin, or ComboCurve.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and working with international development teams is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on fostering a positive team culture and continuous learning.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
