Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the identification, analysis, and acquisition of real estate assets. This position requires strong financial acumen, market research skills, and a passion for real estate.

Acquisitions Analyst Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition opportunities in targeted regions.
  • Analyze financial statements, property performance data, and market trends to assess the viability of prospective investments.
  • Develop financial models, including discounted cash flow analysis and internal rate of return calculations.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
  • Collaborate with the acquisitions team to negotiate purchase agreements and coordinate due diligence processes.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to inform acquisition strategies.
  • Assist in the management of relationships with brokers, property owners, and other industry professionals.
  • Support post-acquisition integration and performance tracking of acquired properties.

Acquisitions Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, or investment analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and real estate analysis software (e.g., Argus, CoStar).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
