Immigration Attorney

About the Role: We are seeking highly motivated and qualified attorneys for our offices. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, team player, manager, and self-starter with strong business acumen and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with potential new clients to discuss their cases.
• Coordinate case and legal strategy effectively.
• Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Train and supervise staff to ensure efficient case handling.
• Prepare and revise court documents as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Stay updated on legislative changes and judicial case law.
• Market the law firm's services to attract new clients.
• Work one Saturday a month with the potential for bonuses for new clients signed during those days.
• Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm.
• Handle court hearings and trials with competence and confidence.
• Become an expert on Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school (required).
• Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico (required).
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Fluency in Spanish (required).
• Immigration experience (1 year or more) is preferred.
