What you will be responsible for
- • Strategic and forward-thinking technology leader with deep expertise in engineering and security technologies including strategy with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence with the ability to partner and influence across multiple organizations, up to Executive Leadership Team
- • Able to seamlessly switch from diving deep into technology with engineers to driving high level, strategic discussions around cloud roadmaps and security patterns
- • Lead multiple data and software engineering teams, including resource levelling, mentoring, enhancing, and maintaining best-of-class development across multiple teams and disciplines
- • Responsibilities include setting and coordinating program strategies, governance and execution of the of the strategies, solution design and integrations, program awareness, securing funding and budget management, business relationship management, and organizational change management
- • Collaborate with software architects, product managers, engineering managers, and engineers to architect and develop the Best-In-Class data and software development practices/methodologies in delivering value quickly to stakeholders without sacrificing software quality
- • Track record of defining and delivering a strategic roadmap for best-in-class capabilities across the Cyber Engineering space -- not afraid to question any existing processes and solutions, yet you display a keen sense of business value proposition and focus on the right priorities
- • Build partnerships with Business Unit and technology leaders to establish a validated quarterly capacity/demand plan that enables delivery of the Product Roadmap and technology Investments
- • Act as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining relationships with technology leaders and Business stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of technology and data services to meet those needs and responds with agility to changing business priorities
- • Research and advocate innovative cybersecurity approaches that drive dramatic increases in business value, reductions in Time to Build, and Total Cost of Ownership.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), computer science, or related field with 15 years of relevant experience in industry, government, or consulting roles.
• 15+ years of IT infrastructure and information security experience
• At least 7 years experience in people management
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Technology building and securing cloud-based and on-premise environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, CoLos and physical data centers.
Preferred:
• Master's degree in IT, computer science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience building and leading teams of full-stack software, data and analytics engineers in a distributed devops model
• Deep experience with cloud tooling and expertise in container native systems and associated security and scaling considerations - ability to work with and build tooling that works in a multi/hybrid cloud environment with modern CI/CD, IaC, DataOps, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Experience working or developing Kubernetes autoscaling tools and deep experience with container and cloud security principles.
• Experience with distributed data processing and delivering enterprise scale software products.
• In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum values and principles; rich experience of working with highly efficient cross-functional Scrum team in software development and delivery.
• Familiar with IT security/cybersecurity domains is a bonus, including but not limited to cyber engineering, IAM (Identity Access Management), SSO, MFA, cyber threat intelligence, security operation, access control, network security, security vulnerability, insider threat, data loss protection, etc.

$155,000 - $230,000 Annual
