Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backup and recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
  • Integrate backup and recovery capabilities to VMware vCenter systems and databases
  • Develop automation scripts to support integration with various systems
  • Assist with support and administration of existing backup tools
  • Respond to backup incidents in a production environment providing level 3 support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10 years' experience as a backup storage engineer
  • 10 Years' as a Linux engineering system administrator or equivalent experience
  • Experience integrating backup and recovery solutions to backup and recovery VMware vCenter servers
  • Experience integrating backup and recovery solutions to backup Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Experience using product API to automate and integrate functions
  • Skilled in scripting languages (Python, PERL)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cohesity certified or equivalent work experience
  • Prior financial services or other highly regulated industry experience
