Simplot Company is on a greenfield SAP S/4 HANA ERP global transformation journey to support our current business and provide a unified platform that will take us into the future. Along with implementing and utilizing the core SAP S/4HANA functionality, we are implementing and connecting multiple SAP-adjacent systems; SAP Ariba is one of those systems. We are looking for a functional analyst who can support SAP Ariba and its integration to S/4HANA. The Functional Analysts are experts in their respective areas and must be able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences in the pursuit of design, implementation, and on-going support of the solutions.Key Responsibilities Be the functional expert for your process area or application Ensure your consulting team members of your process area follow program expectations Represent your process area in design and build sessions and solutioning Guide and participate in configuration in your process area Participate and contribute to daily stand-up meetings with a small agile development team in a quest to rapidly deploy new solutions on the S4 platform and tangential systems. Utilize agile methodologies for continuous delivery of solutions. Rapid deployment and validation of solutions components is a must. Design, configure, and test developed solutions and collaborate with agile team peers on the scope of the solution. Participate in continuous discovery of new solutions that will utilize the SAP Product Suite already procured by Simplot.Typical Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience 3+ Years of proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst or IT Business Analyst in relation to Ariba and procurement processes. Working knowledge of the new Fiori tools is preferred and S/4HANA experience is helpful (1809,1909,2022). Good understanding of various integration patterns between SAP products and non-SAP Products and when to utilize these patterns when enabling a business process is preferred.
Good understanding of the development lifecycle utilization of SAP Solution Manager and how it will be utilized in a Dev/Ops environment is preferred. Understanding of Agile methodologies such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred. Excellent troubleshooting and verbal and written communication skills are required. Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development is required. Other Information Is visa sponsorship for the United States provided for this position?
